Man Sat Dead at Dinner Table for 2 Days Before Neighbors Notice

Townsville neighbours thought a man who had died while sitting in a chair at his dining room table was asleep before they realised he hadn't moved in days, Australia.

The 51-year-old had been spotted at his dinner table with a plate of food in front of him in the Townsville suburb of North Ward, the Townsville Bulletin reports.
Neighbours thought the man was just asleep but called raised the alarm after they realised he hadn't moved for two days.
Townsville police senior sergeant Tony Melrose told ninemsn they were not treating the death as suspicious.
"We expect his death to be of natural causes given the absence of injuries, violence and the fact he was seated in the chair," he said.
He added that a post mortem examination was due to be completed today.
